Wireless Weekend | |

It has been an dreadful week. Felt depressed, work not resulting, over-stress’ing myself, no appetite, hurt returned. On the verge of breakdown, but venge it out on loads of weights. Sigh. I really enjoy companionship, felt especially good. Dined with Aiman at one of my favourite hang-out spots – Coffee Club Xpress (Orchard Fountain Park). Thanks mate. On this weekend, went for dinner with Alex and Daren at Teahouse (Raffles City Shopping Centre). My first time at the restaurant. I would say they’ve got a good varieties in their menu. I like the comfortable ambience. It seems like I’m back in Hong Kong. After the course of dinner, I would highly recommend to check it out! Walked around, and spotted a cool comfy couch by the fountain at Ben & Jerry’s. Can’t resist, but to thump on it and splurge on the ice-cream’licious indulgence. Joined in the wireless fun with my SONY Vaio there and then.

Roadshow .vs. S’travaganza | |

Citylink Mall was gloomed with the energetic vibe by us, Fitness First. We had great time blending with the public, and ourselves. Even our lunch at NEW YORK NEW YORK Restaurant: I’ve given Daren and Aslina a “I-am-Back” treat. Let’s take a look at what’s the menu on “The New York Post”. Fiery Buffalo Wings. Tomato and Mozarella Bakery. London Style Fish and Chips. Double Barrel. My delicious Penne Alferdo with Half Chicken, and yummy Frosty Ultra Rich Chocolate. Cool! Are we really in New York, or still in Singapore? Somehow, once you stepped into the restaurant, the ambience will bring you away to New York. Believe it or not. Here’s the wacky duo.. Berdley with his choco’licious, and Aslina with her lick’a'licious Candy Floss. Hehe. While working at the roadshow, there are times we had to take a breather too. Our breather would include some shopping spree at the mall itself. I, personally, have spent over two hundred bucks on my new Adidas track pants, Newurbanmale.com bag, and beanie bear which I called it Happy.. Why “Happy”? Reason being.. Well.. Oh.. here’s what S’travaganza refers to.. Spend Extravagaza.. by Berdley. Hehe. Da-Da.

Training To Defend | |
| | Author: BerdleyChoong™ | Posted: Friday, 06:44 PM | Category: Blog 2006 | | ||
Firstly, to conclude my month of August at work, it was a messy and disappointed result. Sigh. As well, I’ve only had about two weeks or so to perform, which kinda restraint my capability. -=-=- My first in-camp training takes place from August 21 to September 08 (today). As an advance-party, I had to serve an additional of seven days with the commanders and specialists. The first two days were being programmed for me and my fellow mates at the Medical Training Institute (formerly known as School of Military Medicine). I had great time rekindling memories of my trainee days spent there, and refreshing my medical and life-saving skills. It sort of brings me images of him, when there’s a particular instructor who looks alike. On the third day onwards, I served my regiments at my unit, where I build bonds with my fellow mates, commanders and specialists. There were four IPPT (Individual Physical Proficiency Test) sessions throughout the entire stay. I was astonished by my own results, as I didn’t expect it to be, however I failed due to one specific static station. I will work hard on it, and make sure I’ll get through it. Being in the medical team, I had a great responsibility to behold. Here, let me share some snaps taken during my training.. We often had to start our day’s training very early in the morning, through bump’y routes. As we all know, time and tide waits for no man, also our training programme is pretty much packed. I’m proud to render my medical service anytime anywhere, even in my safety rover with my safety officer. All ready. This is what I had to carry during each training, much more than my fellow men, where I have additional of medical items ‘cos our mission is to save lives. I would say our medical team is the most united amongst others. Allow me to introduce – Bradd (center) and Altaf (right). We had to defend our nation islandwide. We all stand together as one. Some other interesting snaps I’ve collected, which is a pile of rock in it’s defending position, and found a pool of mussels! Hmm.. We’ve learnt a lot from this in-camp training, and bonds being built and enhanced although through gruelling physical activities. I, personally enjoyed. Thanks bros. We’ll catch up soon.
