Had dinner with Andrew at Makan Sutra (Esplanade). The ambience was pretty alright, except for the food. We ordered Sirloin Steak – medium rare, it looks nice at first but as we eat along..

Are we eating freshly slaughtered cow, or Andrew said that probably we’re having beef sashimi. Hmm..

It is so great to be back! Seeing familiar faces, and warm welcome from both staff and members.

Went for dinner with Mico on Friday evening at TCC (Citylink Mall). It has been a long time we last dine together, pretty much enjoying especially with tasty selections of food..

Spice Chic Brix – the chicken was tender and appetizing. Seafood Aglio Olio – except that there was a little more olive oil, I love the freshness of prawns and scallops. Yummy!

We catch-up with each other quite a bit and continued off to K-Box (Suntec City) for a indulging session. Cool, but not so cool ‘cos I lost my voice at the end of it. Hmm..

Met up with Andrew after work for “KUNG FU PANDA” at Cathay Cineleisure on Saturday.

“A CG-animated comedy about a lazy, irreverent slacker panda, Po, who must somehow become a Kung Fu Master in order to save the Valley of Peace from a villainous snow leopard, Tai Lung. We had a roadshow at King Albert Park for pre-opening of Fusionopolis club during the weekend.

We could see PO and his gang all around as MacDonald’s having a promotion for the movie. Haha!

We are all extremely excited about our new club, except that the weather hasn’t been really kind to us for the past few days though it could be the best situation to laze on the beach and tan.

However, we did had our fair bit of fun there. Look, PO joined us for lunch with his packet of Magnolia milk, but only to realise he is as short as a small packet of milk. Ssshh..!

Everyone loves him, and he knows.

Got changed, and hopped a trip down town to meet up with Andrew for dinner at Sakae Sushi (at Wheelock Place).

We had a simple yet interesting dinner, and about things in life. Also, amazing to see how we connect.

Walked down the streets with satifying stomach and dropped by Kinokuniya (at Takashimaya) before heading down to Cineleisure Orchard to catch the ever-talked-about movie – “Sex and the City”.

“Carrie Bradshaw, successful author and everyone’s favourite fashion icon-next-door, is back, her famously sardonic wit intact and sharper than ever, as she continues to narrate her own story about sex, love and the fashion-obsessed single woman in New York City. Sex and the City finds Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte, and Miranda four years after the hit HBO series ended, as our favourite friends continue to juggle jobs and relationships while navigating motherhood, marriage and Manhattan real estate.”

I must confess that I didn’t really follow the series much, but could immediately click to it after a short introductory part of the movie. Gosh! Carrie and Samantha really had an amazingly glamorous lifestyle, how I wish I could have a taste of that too.

This is one of the best film, indeed a blockbuster.

PURE by Hugo Boss 75ML EDT from Robinsons (S$118) – simply light and refreshing for a change. However, my first love is still ENERGIZE by Hugo Boss.

SSteel Ear-stud from MIO by ORVA Gioielli (S$59). I lost my favourite ear-stud though, now for a new design.

“PECULIAR CHRIS” by Johann S. Lee from Kinokuniya (S$19.80). Published in 1992; with subtlety, lucidness and quiet courage, Johann weaves an intricate fabric of human emotions and touches on the finer aspects of homosexuality hitherto unexplored in Singapore friction. Yes, I know majority has read this novel, but I am one of those who just got to know about this title through Johann’s second published friction – “To Know Where I Am Coming From”.

An rejuvenating week is coming before I conquer new challenges ahead..
