We will commence our training on Tuesday, and we are all looking forward to the exciting path gaining new experiences and skills.

Smile is what you can see on our faces..

I have so much that I want to accomplish, but there is only that little capacity for me.

I want to..
.. achieve big in my career path;
.. have my own apartment and drive my own car;
.. provide for my parents;
.. equip myself with more knowledge skills;
.. involve in projects to fight poverty and pro human developments in third world countries;
.. live big and be a talent;
.. and many more..

However, I am restricted by the power of time, always crossing path with fate and will be a little stretched financially. Yes, it has that little limit for me.

“Work hard, work smart” is something been heard, but somehow either it brings me back to the original spot or I struggle in the box and can’t break out of it.

Why is it that I can’t drift myself towards the group who achieved their “project” at an early stage of 20s?

I need more motivation.. tonnes of motivation..

Aargh..! My day’s plan to the beach has to be cancelled!

Things get better when I am at the gym for my training with Yattz. I didn’t realize that this Pitbull (he looks like him) has increased my weights a little today, but it felt great! In the middle of training, we witness a lady (probably in her 30s) clad in white top and pink mini-skirt working out. Gosh! Who in the right mind will attire like that for workout?!

After my session, grabbed a pack of milk and hailed a cab heading down to Far East Plaza to print my BB*Tee, that’s when another episode of nightmare began..

Have you tried to be suffocated in an enclosed cabin filled with pungent and sour air? No, try taking a cab. Cab, why? Most, and I mean MOST, of the cab drivers nowadays have no sense of personal hygiene! Terrible body odour is the hardest thing to endure! Please, at least fresh up every now and then, or get a body spray and car air freshener! I had to wind down the windows slightly throughout the journey.

Well, that’s not all. He kept asking questions when I don’t even want to breathe in due to the bad odour:

Driver: “You went for a trip to Batam?”
Me: “No.”
Driver: “Are you from Batam?”
Me: “NO!”
Driver: “You’re here for holiday?”
Me: “NO! I am local!”
Driver: “You just went for tanning?”
Me: “NO!”
Driver: “Oh, you look dark.”

I ignored all his questions and comment after. I was like WHAT THE F*CK?! Do I look like I am from a place like Batam?! I haven’t been able to tan for two weeks and I am dark?! I hate brainless conversation! That pissed me off further!

Arrival at Ministry of Press brightened me a little. I was amazed by the small little store with enormous service, especially Vincent Yee. He was pleasant and very patient in his advice. I definitely made the right choice to get BB*Tee produced under his studio house. Thanks, Vincent. Looking forward to Wednesday to receive my very own BB*Tee! Geez!

Making it’s debut on December 06 2009 at Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon 2009! Spot it!

We arrived at Singapore Changi Airport earlier than the stipulated reporting time for final stage – Meet-the-Management session.

We had lunch at POPEYE, however our Queen seems to be very conscious about her “ahem”. For me, anything goes as long as I get my Popcorn Shrimps! Yummy, yummy!

Walking up towards the Skytrain platform sees me as a visitor. Oops! Where is my luggage?!

We were glad to see familiar faces around for the final stage. When it commence, we had a pretty good interaction with the management team to find out more about the company and prospectives.

Here comes the drum rolls again! Once again, a couple of names were being called out of the room, and the same statement resurfaced “Congratulations! All of you in this room are through!” *Phew*

What comes next?

We need to clear one final procedure – Medical Check-up – before the finale moment. Looking forward..

Being invited for a recruitment exercise of a commercial airline this afternoon.

Arrived at Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1 prim-and-proper in my HUGO Boss skin. Dress for success and better present myself. I can hear someone saying, “.. there he goes again, he and his HUGO Boss..”

About 18 individuals were present, some smart casual while some formal smart (just like me.. ahem!)..

Upon verifications and registrations, we were brought into a room for our first round – Self-Introduction and Group Activity. It was pretty interesting to see how different individuals introduce themselves, and of course, I tried to tug down my nervousness and remain composed.

During Group Activity, we were team’ed in SIX-es to come up with a promotional campaign for the airline. We had lots of interactions, and my team came up with a sketch while a sweet lady and me played couple. Fun!

All done! The moment has come.. who got in to the next round, who will be booted out? We’ll come back after this break. Oh wait, sounds familiar? Yeah, that was how I felt, seems like Singapore Idol. Ssshhhh..

SIX candidates were called out to another room to let them know who will be in or booted. Upon second entrance by the Human Resource Executive, this came from her, “Congratulations! All of you in this room are through!” Oh gosh!

Hey! Not over.. round two means One-on-One Interview..

I reckon I did fairly well, holding on with confidence but anything can happen [cross fingers] from now till Wednesday. Erm.. did I just mentioned Wednesday? Yes, that’s the day we’ll get to know our results if we are through to the final round. Oh my.. it’s an emotional ordeal.. best wishes to me!

Overall, I would say this is pretty much of a good experience for me as I get to meet new individuals with nice personalities and much more interactions went on. A total difference from my previous interview for flight attendant that happened about three years ago.
